This program covers training in CPR, Basic Life Suport & First Aid, covering current standards & requirements in the Workplace. (Required every 3 years)
This qualification is required by Dive Professionals (Divemasters & Instructors) wanting to gain employment in the industry.
How to properly assess an emergency situation
CPR techniques on adults and infants
Breathing and cardiac emergencies
Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
First aid procedures for bleeding, burns and fracture
Managing medical conditions such as anaphylaxis, asthma and seizures
Managing medical emergencies such as snake/spider bites, poisons and choking
Infection control procedures
Managing exposure to extreme temperatures
Administering first aid for eye & soft tissue injuries
Assessing and moving sick & injured
Legal responsibilities of a first aider

The First Aid Equipment You Will Use
Go Dive will provide First Aid Equipment, Defibrillation devices and CPR Mannequins hygienically cleaned and sanitised between each course, and barriers for you to use during your training.
This course is scheduled Tuesdays at the Go Dive Windsor Classroom from 9am to 4pm. Bookings are essential.

- 1 day instructional training
- Statement of Attainment certificate upon successful completion of requirements
Prestudy for this course is required. An online theory program in included in the price of your fee. This needs to be completed prior to course start.
